Great performance! So much fun!!! -
What a great evening... These musicians are passionately committed to delivering the best performance they can give an audience, yet they still know how to have fun with it. This evening's performance gave insight into how loving what you do plays a big role in the dedication and time a person invests in the journey. The entire group was very professional throughout the program, but when it came to the encores (x3), each one gave a little more exposure to the fun they have with what they do, and the best part was they shared that fun with the audience, not holding anything back.

It's hard for this type of ensemble to feed off the crowd...probably should've had a standing room section in front stage and the seating kept in the back of the room. People wanted to boogie and not just the kookie looking guy towards the end.— javier

The meetup time was set for between 8 and 8:30, and I got there around 8:45 and couldn't find anyone. This has happened before when the meetup was at a large venue. It was no problem for me as I had a great time hanging out on my own and taking photos, but for people who aren't as comfortable being by themselves, there should be a way to get in touch with the organizer. -

The sound system at Chico stage was very bad but the band Katdellic was excellent. I went to the Funk Fest to hear Funk music. Unfortunately, Steve Arrington (formerly of Slave) may not have been aware of that. Or maybe the folks who put this event on didn't tell a few of the performers it was a "Funk" Fest. That's what the crowd wanted to hear but got very little. -
